Will this become a threat to front of house staff? A new bar in London is now offering punters the chance to pull their own beer and order what they want to eat via a bespoke iPad system. They won’t even have to leave their seat! The Thirsty Bear in Blackfriars has been set up to accommodate 80 guests with 19 built-in iPads at tables which feature beer pumps that allow the customer to pull their beer just the way they like it. The pub, which was developed as a marketing concept, is now being used to showcase the technology as interest grows.
